| Here is Burda 7401. I made this a while ago but I have been wearing it a lot lately. I used some 100% linen I bought from Fashion Fabric.com a long time ago. I bought it because the color was what i was looking for and it was only $3.95 a yard. It was not very good quality> I should have known that for that price it would be mediocre. I love to wear this color with jeans so I thought it turned out okay. The coat you can see hanging on the right of this picture is a vintage coat I found on e-bay for $7.00 Love it ... i will leave that to another post.... |
thanks for the review - I haven`t heard of that pattern. Even though you weren`t completely happy with your fabric your jacket looks very special and high class.

ReplyDeleteWow! Your jacket looks great! I have just cut this pattern out and am struggling with it! Were the pieces the right size, or did you have to ease them? In particular, the lower front (that makes the pocket) seems too short to fit on the front. The side piece also seems too short. Can you help me?
ReplyDeleteI also had trouble with the pockets, they just didn't fit right . I finally just sewed them shut.
