I wanted to make a vest and quick. This pattern Simplicity 2633 fit the bill. I used a cotton blend sear sucker fabric I got at Joann's for $1.50. Can't beat that! I was going to line it but I wanted to finish it fast, so I opted for hong kong finishes instead. Well that wasn't fast!! Even though no one will ever see the inside but me, it makes me smile when I put it on, so it was worth the extra effort.

a peek inside to see the hong kong finishes. I love to use this technique, even on a simple vest. It makes it a little nicer.
