this picture was taken a while ago, because we now have a foot of snow!
I know I find one pattern I love and I want to make it in everything. I found this brown polyester knit at Joann's. It just matches the brown pants I made from an old Burda pattern # 3083. This is the second time I've used this pants pattern. It hits right at your natural waist, so this time I lowered it one inch. I still have two knits I want to use for two more tops from this Vogue 8536 pattern. Hope you don't get too bored, but I love, love this knit top pattern!
I've been sewing for years now, but I have never seen a selvage quite like this one. Have you?
The whole outfit looks amazing on you!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like the selvage is made out of hair. lol. How bizare.
Love the fabric. Unusual selvage for a knit.
ReplyDeleteLove the knit, that salvage is quite weird, never seen a knit salvage like that. The top looks great on you!
ReplyDeletePossibly those were the yarns that secured the weft rows to the loom or knitting machine, and they just were never trimmed off?
ReplyDeleteNever seen it before either.
