I've had this dress done for some time now, but I am soooooo behind on blogging! I found this great wool matte jersey from Fabric.com. I bought enough to make a dress and a top. I really love this fabric.I made the size 10 but added one inch in the sleeve length. I was going to serge the seams but I didn't want a bulky edge, so I just trimmed and pressed open. I really like the inside to be as finished as the outside, but in this case it worked out great!
The only thing I would do different would be to add some back darts, but I am happy with the results. Now to find some funky tights to go with it!
