BWOF 6/2009/133

I must say I loved making this pattern. I added one inch to the sleeve length, and one inch to the bodice length. I used a cotton batiste I bought online, but can't remember which site. I also used fine heirloom sewing thread and used a fine needle in my machine . I used all french seams, and bound the armholes with bias strips of fabric. I have been doing alot of sewing but I am having a hard time getting things posted. I have three skirts and four tops to review. It has been great fun!!!
The pictures do not give this top justice . It is pretty cute and I love wearing it.It had a lot of bias strips to make and turn but it was a blast to make.
picture of the back. It is kind of wrinkled, sorry.
finished facing using Veriform woven sew in interfacing, one of my favorite interfacing. It is hard to find but i do love it.

Detail of the pocket.
I cut bias strips of fabric to bind the armholes.
